Due to continued growth within our market sector we require a full time technician to work within our centre

You will undertake tasks relating to maintaining and reparing our ten pin bowling pin-spotter machines (82-90's), lanes, approach areas and other general equipment, as well as in house maintenance to the required standard that we have set.

Stong candidates will possess the ability to demonstrate practical and mechanical awareness, ability to work as part of a team with fantastic communication skills and a positive "can do" attitude.

Previous experience is not essential within the bowling industry but a technical knowhow is a must.

The job involves working behind the lanes as the centre is open from 10am. You will be working in a busy environment, which houses many bowling leagues, corporate and childrens party's

We are a 7 day a week operation so working patterns are on a shift basis.

Absolutely Leisure manages the Ten Pin Bowling centre in Slough!

We are looking for an enthusiastic self starter to fill the following vacancy:

Technician

£6.25 per hour

Casual / As & When Basis

Shift Work inc. Evenings & Weekends

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the smooth running of all 18 bowling lanes in the centre, be proactive in maintenance of Bowling machinery and also general site maintenance, i.e. painting, minor repair work etc. The post holder will also ensure; equipment is available, safety standards are maintained and will undertake basic maintenance duties.

Candidates must have experience of working in front line customer service and some experience of maintaining machinery. Candidates must be able to cope in a busy customer service environment and value the importance of adhering to H&S standards.
